Check out the html skills, baby!!! Okay, okay, so the good folks over at Odeo wrote it all down for me. Doesn't make it less cool! Check out our LIVE podcast player on the right of the page under the links section. And below that is a little button that will take you to our podcast page. Man, I should get paid for this!

And I also updated the links to reflect some of our favorite news and info sites. We went a bit mainstream on today's show, but look for future shows to re-engage the pirate scene, folks. There's a LOT going on, and we'll keep you up to date on it.

Episode #4 - We came, we saw, we kicked it's ass!

Oh yeah! Episode #4 is up and ready to crank over at Odeo. I even think I can put some fancy flash player buttons on Blogger so you can stream it right from this site. How cool is that???

Episodes #1-3 will hereby be dubbed the "Lost Episodes." Mostly because I'm not sure how long they will be up on this site, and I'm not putting them on Odeo just yet. Odeo makes you resample all MP3's at precisely 44.1Khz or else you'll sound like a chipmunk. Thus, the Lost Episodes will have to wait until after the holidays.

Episode #5 "I'm your weatherman!" will be up tomorrow. We're going to try to do this weekly until mid-November, and then it's anybody's guess. Retail's a bitch. See ya!

New episode in the works... FINALLY!

Well, we're at it again. We've got a new format, new website (Odeo, I think), new hardware, and new booze. But it's still the same old Akshun J and Wxman! The new episode should be in the can and on the web within 48 hours. We're trying to keep it to 30 minutes. Our new format is below:

1. Tech hardware, software, or downloaded show review.
2. Underground tech news roundup.
3. Weather minute
4. Website of the week.
5. Rants, Raves, and wrap-ups. And maybe some boobs!

This week we'll be talking about:
1. The perfect gaming storm: Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3. Also, we'll see how the Zune stacks up against the iPod.
2. Tons of P2P news!
3. Damn it's cold! Why is that Wxman?
4. Ooooo! Last.fm is coming on strong. We'll take a look...
5. Maybe we'll even talk politics!

On hiatus...

Undergound Media is on a temporary hiatus. Two reasons...

#1 We're out of webspace. No where to store the MP3's till I get a new server up and running or pony up some bucks for a hosted solution.

#2 Time is a serious challenge recently for both Wxman and myself.

However, there should be some resolutions on at least one of those fronts soon. Keep checking back. UM will return!!!

#3 is on the way!

Wxman and myself have been slammed with work, but this next release, "I picked the wrong day to stop drinking..." is just about finished. #4 will come out right on the heels as we'll have a bit of a breather here soon.

Okay, I have re-encoded both our latest podcasts. I'm sure everyone will find the smaller file size more to their liking.

Well, Podcast Alley is now carrying our show. NICE!!! The good people over at Yahoo don't seem to have gotten off their collective asses yet to approve our inclusion into their listing. But, we'll see what happens after our next show...

Did I mention that UM was ranked #2805th out of 18,864? Um, I think that's kind of okay for only two episodes, right???

Episode #2 - It's in the hole!

Clocking in at just under 2 hours, Episode #2 of Underground Media - It's in the hole, is now live. We are also setting up a cool RSS feed and hopefully we'll start getting some site traffic!

Folks, we're still trying to improve, so any and all feedback is appreciated. Either in the blog comments or to akshun_j@fastmail.net. This time we spiced it up with some music tracks, and next time we're aiming to trim the format down to a more breezy one hour with a solid four segments:

1. Review of a downloaded TV Show or movie
2. News roundup
3. Weather minute
4. Website of the week
4. Random sound-off and rants

Do I have #4 listed twice? Well, that's the kind of show we do.
